Dear friend!

If you could, would you reach out into the ghettos, the concentration camps, the death camps, the trains, and pull out at least one person?

Failing that, if you had the chance, would you have liked to have been around at the Liberation, and cradled a survivor in your arms, bringing food and water to his lips?

Or when battered survivors arrived in the Land of Israel, would you have wanted to be there at the port, to welcome them off the boats, to give them the red carpet treatment?

There's still time to help the many of the Holocaust survivors alive in the State of Israel today. Those who were adults during the Holocaust are living out their few remaining years and even those who were children then are well past middle age.

No one can make up for the suffering of these people, for the loss of their loved ones, their homes, and their realities. Nevertheless we ask you to please help us help those who have suffered so much, so senselessly, to enjoy a higher quality of life in their last years.

AMCHA was registered as a charitable, non-profit organization (No. 58-010485-9) on February 27, 1987, and has been approved as a public institution according to the Income Tax Ordinance (making donations to AMCHA exempt from Income tax). AMCHA is subject to the control of the registrar, the tax authorities, certified professional auditor, internal auditor and legal advisor.

In order to meet the growing needs of survivors and their families, AMCHA must continue to develop programs and services, recruit more volunteers, provide ongoing training programs, establish new branches and promote its services to the public.

We are very grateful to those who give donations, without which our activities could not be possible.

Donations to AMCHA can be made through any of our friends' organizations in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the US, or directly to Amcha's National Center.
